This past weekend, Sunday September 13th to be exact, was the 38th anniversary of the day my parents opened ATR International! I am proud of their legacy, honored to lead the company today, and truly humbled when I think of their journey and how far we’ve come. What started with just two people has grown, adapted, and flourished into thirty-eight years of teamwork, partnership and success.
For thirty-eight years ATR has been:
- Providing staff augmentation, direct hire, employer of record and other workforce solutions to our client partners from start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations. We’ve built expertise across technical, scientific, financial, and professional sectors to better support specialized hiring needs and developed structured, quality-driven recruiting and delivery processes that ensure consistency and performance.
- Treating people with respect and fairness. As a woman-led, minority-owned business with WBENC certification and supplier diversity recognition, supporting equality and inclusion in the workplace has always been a part of our mission, working with the more than 35,000 consultants we’ve placed or growing an internal team that reflects the communities we serve.
Every anniversary is a chance to reflect back on the journey so far and look forward to the future and what is to come. As we look back, my parents, Maria and Jerry, and I want to acknowledge and thank everyone who has worked for ATR through the years – from the early crew, to those who saw us through our expansion across the U.S., to our current team, who will be integral to the next thirty-eight years! We are profoundly grateful for your hard work and critical contribution to ATR’s success and longevity. We share this milestone with all of you!
We’d also like to acknowledge our amazing clients! The trust you have shown us and your willingness to forge meaningful partnerships to achieve the best results are so appreciated. Through the years we have been involved with many exciting, even groundbreaking and lifesaving products and companies. We are grateful to have played a role, however small, in helping you all achieve amazing things.
Finally, thank you to the many, many consultants who we have placed over the past thirty-eight years. Helping people work means helping them live more successful, fulfilling lives. Your career, your livelihood, is such an important part of your life, we are honored that you entrust us to help. That responsibility and your confidence have always, and will continue to, inspire us.
Thirty-eight years in, we’re just getting started. As a firm built on relationships, not transactions, ATR’s next chapter looks a lot like our first, just at greater scale. We are expanding into new verticals, markets, and new service offerings while keeping the founding promise intact. Thank you for celebrating with us!
